These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Dialed mobile application ("App") operated by Dialed LLC ("Dialed," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Dialed is a mountain bike maintenance tracking application that helps you monitor component wear, log rides and service history, and receive maintenance reminders. The App offers both free and paid subscription tiers.

Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
One person per account. Account sharing is not permitted.

Subscriptions & Payments

Free Tier

Track up to 3 bikes.
Up to 50 photos per component.
1 PDF service report.
Full component tracking and ride logging.

Pro Subscription

Unlimited bikes, photos, and PDF reports.
Advanced analytics and priority support.
Available as monthly ($4.99/month) or annual ($49.99/year) auto-renewing subscriptions.
Annual plan includes a 7-day free trial.

Billing

Payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's subscription settings (iOS: Settings > Subscriptions; Android: Google Play > Subscriptions).
No refunds for partial billing periods. Refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google per their respective refund policies.

Subscription Lapse

If your Pro subscription expires or is cancelled, your account reverts to the Free tier.
Bikes beyond the free limit (3) become read-only but are not deleted.
A 7-day grace period is provided before downgrade takes effect.
We never delete your data due to subscription changes.

AI-Powered Features

Dialed uses artificial intelligence (Claude by Anthropic) to identify bike components from photos.
AI-generated results are suggestions and estimates only. They are not guaranteed to be accurate.
You are responsible for verifying component identification, service intervals, and maintenance recommendations.
Dialed is not liable for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from reliance on AI-generated information.

Third-Party Integrations

Strava: You may connect your Strava account to automatically sync ride data. This integration is governed by Strava's own Terms of Service. You can disconnect Strava at any time.
Apple / Google Sign In: Social sign-in is subject to Apple's and Google's respective terms.

User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in the App (photos, notes, service logs).
By using the App, you grant Dialed a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
We do not use your content for marketing, advertising, or AI training purposes.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems or other user accounts.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
Use automated scripts or bots to access the App.
Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on others' rights.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." DIALED DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Dialed does not warrant that:

The App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
AI component identification will be accurate.
Service interval recommendations will prevent component failure.
The App will be compatible with all devices.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DIALED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, PERSONAL INJURY, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

DIALED'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dialed LLC, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting hello@dialedmtbapp.com.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
We will delete your data within 30 days of account deletion, unless retention is required by law.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
