These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Dialed mobile application ("App") operated by Dialed MTB LLC ("Dialed," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Description of Service
Dialed is a mountain bike maintenance tracking application that helps you monitor component wear, log rides and service history, and receive maintenance reminders. The App offers both free and paid subscription tiers.
Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
One person per account. Account sharing is not permitted.
Subscriptions & Payments
Free Tier
Track up to 2 bikes.
Full component tracking and ride logging (manual, or auto-synced from Strava).
Pro Subscription
10 bikes
50 photos per component
Component PDF reports
Bike PDF reports
Part swapping between bikes
Early access to new features
Beta testing access
Priority support
Available as monthly ($4.99/month) or annual ($49.99/year) auto-renewing subscriptions.
Annual plan includes a 7-day free trial.
Billing
Payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's subscription settings (iOS: Settings > Subscriptions; Android: Google Play > Subscriptions).
No refunds for partial billing periods. Refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google per their respective refund policies.
Subscription Lapse
If your Pro subscription expires or is cancelled, your account reverts to the Free tier.
Bikes beyond the free limit (2) become read-only but are not deleted.
We never delete your data due to subscription changes.
AI-Powered Features
Dialed uses artificial intelligence to identify bike components from bike info.
AI-generated results are suggestions and estimates only. They are not guaranteed to be accurate.
You are responsible for verifying component identification, service intervals, and maintenance recommendations.
Dialed is not liable for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from reliance on AI-generated information.
Third-Party Integrations
Strava: You may connect your Strava account to automatically sync ride data. This integration is governed by Strava's own Terms of Service. You can disconnect Strava at any time.
Apple / Google Sign In: Social sign-in is subject to Apple's and Google's respective terms.
Some links in the app take you to third party retailers, such as Jenson USA. If you buy something after following one of those links, we may receive a commission. This never changes the price you pay, and we tell you before you leave the app.
The app may refer you to independent bike shops and service providers. They are not part of Dialed, and any work they carry out is arranged directly between you and them.
User Content
You retain ownership of all content you create in the App (photos, notes, service logs).
By using the App, you grant Dialed a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
We do not use your content for marketing, advertising, or AI training purposes.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems or other user accounts.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
Use automated scripts or bots to access the App.
Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on others' rights.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." DIALED DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Dialed does not warrant that:
The App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
AI component identification will be accurate.
Service interval recommendations will prevent component failure.
The App will be compatible with all devices.
No Professional Advice; Inspect Your Bike
Dialed is a maintenance tracking and reminder tool that provides general informational estimates only. It is not professional mechanical advice and is not a substitute for inspection or service by a qualified bicycle mechanic. Service intervals, wear estimates, and component identifications are approximations and may not reflect the actual condition of your bicycle. You are responsible for physically inspecting your bicycle and its safety critical components (including brakes, fork and suspension, drivetrain, wheels, tires, and frame) before every ride, for following the maintenance and torque specifications published by each component and frame manufacturer, and for having your bicycle serviced by a qualified professional. If you are ever unsure whether a component is safe, do not ride, and consult a qualified bicycle mechanic.
Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that cycling, mountain biking, and performing your own bicycle maintenance are inherently dangerous activities that can result in serious injury, property damage, or death, and that improper maintenance or component failure can cause a crash. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with cycling, with maintaining and servicing your bicycle, and with any use of or reliance on the App and its estimates, reminders, and AI generated information. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that you use the App and act on its information at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DIALED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, PERSONAL INJURY, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
DIALED'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dialed MTB LLC, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile > Delete Account) or by contacting hello@dialedmtbapp.com.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
We will delete your data within 30 days of account deletion, unless retention is required by law.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States of America. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
